It just means that she did not log off and locked the terminal.   You can have multiple logged on users under Vista and 7.   She just needs to click on her name and then log in.

The computer was off at the time she called me. She turned it on and it said  Linda Locked.

Well..the computer does not boot up to locked profiles.   It hibernates or stand-bys to a locked profile.  Most users dont know the difference, so just have her hold the power button down until it clicks and shuts down or pull the power cord.   On reboot it will come up as normal.

I had her turn off the PC and it booted up and then went straight to sleep/hibernation. Any reason as to why its doing that?

Tchase99 was right from the first response. When I went over there, the customers wireless keyboard and mouse was not working. That was the reason she could mot log on. I had to pull out the usb connection from the back of the PC and reconnect the keyboard and mouse to the  wireless infrared connection. I really don't know what to call that connect box. Anyway i was in and out in 15 minutes.
Thanks
