I want to save the configuration of my cisco router

Is there any way I can save the configuration of my old cisco router and transfer or paste the configuration to the new router. If it is? How can I do that?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can set up a tftp server.

Use tftp on the old router to back it up to the server then load it from the server into the new router.

The easiest way to answer is to point you to Cisco's site on backup/restore:  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1835/products_tech_note09186a008020260d.shtml
