Eclipse Hibernate Project: Network adapter problem

Hello,

I am trying to connect to an Oracle XE database from an Eclipse project using Hibernate and JUnit. I am getting the following stack trace and am unable to connect to the database:

above error says the connecting ipaddress is wrong.check your DBA and ask him what is the ipaddress you need to connect

I am working on the same computer, so I am using localhost or 127.0.0.1:8080 to connect to the Oracle XE database.

As per the example, this is my connection method:

I also try replacing 127.0.0.1 with localhost but the same problem.
I login to the oracle XE database through:

http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex

under user LECTURE1/LECTURE1 fine.

What am I missing ?
