Vnc server on Solaris 8

I have Solaris 8 installed with all the optional software. The optional software includes vnc server. the vncserver resides on /opt/sfw/bin/ directory.

I started a vnc server and got the following, seeming the server is running.

fsc-sb25-2:/usr/users/farid>vncserver :1

New 'X' desktop is fsc-sb25-2:1

Starting applications specified in /usr/users/farid/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /usr/users/farid/.vnc/fsc-sb25-2:1.log

However, vnc server was not running and below is what I got on the log file.

_XSERVTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener
_XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to create listener for local

Fatal server error:
Failed to establish all listening sockets
xrdb: Interrupted system call
xrdb: Can't open display 'fsc-sb25-2:1'
xsetroot:  unable to open display 'fsc-sb25-2:1'
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: fsc-sb25-2:1
twm:  unable to open display "fsc-sb25-2:1"

Any advise as what might be wrong and how to fix it.
