HP 2760P with Docking Station Keeps Adding Printer Copies

- HP 2760P Tablet
- HP Docking Station for 2760P
- Windows 7
- Epson E342 Mono Laser Printer

The tablet installs a new copy of my printer every time I remove it, then replace it on its docking station. The old copy shows as offline, and the new copy even fails to work sometimes. I usually have to delete both instances of the printer, unplug the printer USB cable from the docking station, then plug it back in. Windows will then install a working version, and I'm good to go until I remove my laptop again, at which time the process repeats.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Thanks for the response! I have one question, though... how do I uninstall a printer that was just installed with basic drivers? I don't have the manufacturer's software installed.

I still don't know how to completely uninstall a printer that just used basic drivers.

I've removed the printer from my printer list, deleted the manufacturer's folder from my C: drive, rebooted, then installed again while the printer was connected via the docking station, and that didn't work.
