I have an external client who is trying to send an email to our "catch all" mailroom account. When they do they get an NDR that explains:

{domains changed to RECIPIENT AND SENDER}

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
mailroom@RECIPIENT.com
Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept e-mail from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery.

However when they send an email to any other account on our system it comes through. When I looked at the Postini logs it says this particular email had been delivered through to our server and from what I can tell it is our server that rejected it.

Why would it be allowed through to one address but not another.

The mailroom account is a distro group that sends to an internal address and to a public folder.
