Outlook Security Certificate popup issue

After upgrading to Exchange 2010 from 2003, Outlook clients (2003 and 2010) are getting Security Alert pop-ups.

"Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. however, there is a problem with the site's security certificate"

Red X next to: "The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority"

Outcome needed:
No more Pop-ups (no client interaction, want a server resolution)
We do not have an external SSL cert and do not want to buy one.

Only way to achieve what you want is to install the certificates on the machines.  Pretty much wa=hat WalterH said.  But oone thing to mention getting a Certificate for the minimal 2 names you need i.e mail.domain.com and autodiscover.domain.com is pretty cheap should only cost a few hundred bucks.  I would really consider doing that will save you lots of headache later in life.

If you control the clients, you just need to added the root of the exchange certificate to the client root certificate store.
