Format the result of a sum field to display as currency

I have text box that read as follows:

=Grand Total"&" "&[Paid]

I need the results to display as Grand Total $15,000.00

Looks like you're missing a quotation mark...
="Grand Total"&" "&[Paid]

How about a label that reads "Grand total" attached to the [paid] field, which is formatted as currency, left justified and has no border showing with a transparent background?

I'm assuming youre doin gthis in either a form or a report - in either case it would work.
