Acer Aspire 5738 LAN driver 32 bit/64 bit problem

I think my laptop (Acer Aspire 5738 ) came with 64 bit Widows Vista OS. I crashed HDD so I installed XP professional SP3 32 bit.
Now my LAN port is not working because driver in need is only available for 64 bit OS  not for 32 bit.

Have you seen this issue?

Also can I upgrade from 32bit OS to 64 bit without much of a problem.
I need LAN port working to view streamed contents. Wireless is not good enough to view HD contents on this laptop.

Kind Regards

you have to use the one inside IA32...
look in device manager and locate the lan device (in error) right click it>properties and post the VEN and DEV values

Hi nobus,
All drivers on net are related to 64 bit OS and not for 32 bit OS. If I supply VEN and DEV values, do you think we can fix 32 bit drivers?
the link i posted has the driver you asked for XP PRO 32 BIT
