mySQL: Change Field value

I have a Table, with a bunch of fields. Two of them are displayed below:

        DESC                      BAT
        BUL 123                 12.09765
        CIRC 675                99.05672
        TER 356                  1.967543
        BUL 178                 17.09665
        CIRC 626                71.04472
        etc etc

I need to change the value of BAT to another value, but only if DESC = BUL or CIRC. i.e. If DESC = CIRC, or DESC = BUL, then BAT = 4.2356 etc.

Can anyone show me how to make that happen in PHPmyAdmin SQL, please.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
