VBA Excel 2010 - Mouse Icon property

I'm trying to change the mouse icon property by assigning a new Icon file but it won't let me use
GIF, JPG or CUR files.

And the online VBA documentation doesn't specify which type of file to use.

Hi, brothertruffle880.

Before you can use MouseIcon, MousePointer must be set to 99.

MouseIcon should accept .ico or .cur formats.

It will take .CUR and .ICO files

Here's a link for pulling ICO files out of DLL's: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html

you can google "create cur files", "convert gif (or bmp etc.) to cur (or ico) files" to find more sources of icons.

Thanks, brothertruffle880.
