Windows 2003, TS, Office 2003; .DOC icons Show as Wordpad

OS: Windows 2003 running TS; Office 2003
Word 2003; File/Open .doc files show the ICON as a Wordpad icon for all users.

How do I change the ICON as a global change to Word.
Checked Google, couldnt hook the magic combination of words for an answer.

Many Thanks

If Word is not installed, the .doc files will show a Wordpad icon.  If Word IS installed and the wrong icon shows, you need to right click on the doc icon, select properties, select opens with... and select the Word program.  Put in the check mark to set as default and all will be well.
