JAVA - Convert epoch time to "dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss"

Hi,

I need to modify a java application but I dont know JAVA :).

I need to convert the string "epochString" (which contains an epoch time eg: "1323666347") to dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss format.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Cheers

long time = 331.....L;
Jjava.util.Date dd = new java.util.Date(time);

SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDtaeFormat("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss");

String dateString = sdf.format(dd);

I guess you mean number of milliseconds form Jan 1, 1970 as epoch time.
Then this shows how itw works, using now date as an example:

java.util.Date now = new java.util.Date();
        long time = now.getTime();
        System.out.println("time long: " + time);

java.util.Date dd = new java.util.Date(time);

SimpleDateFormat sdf500 = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss");

String dateString = sdf500.format(dd);

        System.out.println("dateString: " + dateString);

Output

time long: 1323678160767
dateString: 12/12/2011 00:22:40

String newTime = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss").format(new Date(Long.parseLong(epochString)));
