Can not get Radeon HD 6950 to support 3 monitors
I have a Dell XPS 9100. I was told it would support 3 monitors with the HD 5670 card installed. It had a VGA, DVI, and HDMI slot. While I could get each individual port/moitor to work and all in combinations of 2 at a time I could not get all three up simultaneously.
I purchased a IceQX Radeon HD 6950 and have instqalled the card and drivers, however the problem perists. All three are visible, and I can activate them in any combination of two. But I can not activate all three simultaneously.
What am I missing?

Nothing. The HDMI and VGA ports are usually twinned so you can use one or the other but not both. You should be able to use the 5670 and 6950 together to give you a combination of three ports.

IThe card has Two DVI, One HDMI, and 2 Mini-Display port slots. Can you use one DVI, One HDMI, and 1 Display port slot?
Can you get an display port to DVI or VGA adapter?

I says it supports QUAD siplay... ...So I would think there is a combo that would work...
I apologize - I was thinking it was one of the cards with 3 outputs. Sorry!

They must be active displayport to dvi or hdmi adapters, cheaper passive adapters will not work.

jamietoner beat me to the punch while I was looking up adapters.
Here are AMD approved ACTIVE adapters. The one I linked to is passive and will not work in your case.
