move sharepoint objects from sbs 2008 sharepoint to office 365

I have a sharepoint site on windows sbs 2008 and I have backed up my current site as a template with no data, just objects.  I need to import it into an office 365 website.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I think I need to do it (export) from the server admin level on sharepoint from sbs server, and import objects into 365 using developer tools.  Does someone have a quick and easy or can they at least point me in the right direction?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
