I have been given dataset (one is 6 db and the other is 35 gb). this is my first time to handle such large database, I have been used to small datasets (surveys), using STATA and SPSS. <br />

My qestion is, what are the recommended data management systems for data management and analysis <br />
<br />
I am also interested in automating some of the functions, like filter or rows/columns. I am good in programming using vb.net<br />
