Hibernate mapping to Apache Derby Table creation

Hi,
I have some hibernate mapping files representing tables in a datbase. The files are of the form *.hbm.xml . Is there a utility to take these hbm.xml files and convert them into an Apache derby database?

Kind regards,
Paul
