How do I zoom in Design view on a report in Access 2010?

I can't believe I haven't been able to figure this out but I just want to zoom in on the page a bit while editting a report in design view in Access 2010.. Typically holding the control key and using the scroll wheel on the mouse would do the trick..

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, this limitation can be frustrating a times...
:-(

1. I purchased a MS wireless mouse a while back, and the standard feature on clicking the scroll button was to "Zoom"

2. You can also invoke the windows "Magnifier" utility.

For most developers you just have to find a resolution that compromises what you see in design view and what you see normally.

"Zoom" in MS Access has always been an issue. There are several utilities that will "Zoom" screens in Access, ...but only in Normal View of a form, not in design view.

Like Runrigger, I too would like to see if any other Experts will post something that will shed some additional light on this issue.

Windows magnifier can probably be called up quickly with any of the many "HotKey/Macro" programs.

Yeh, I'm actually using Zoomit which zooms the whole screen around the mouse and will stay with the mouse.. I love that one and set a hotkey to run it off of one of my mouse buttons but it still doesn't do what just zooming on the design page would do..

Yeah, it seems that the control key/scroll wheel zoom feature is not available in MS Access.

(In fact, the only place this will work for me is in my web browser...)

Doesn't seem anyone has any other thoughts on this.. Seems pretty crazy that you can't zoom in while in designer..

Seems zooming other than using a third party app is not possible..
