This email account is not currently accessible by your blackberry device.

Hi Experts,

Thanks for reading. I changed my password and now I'm receiving the following error in an email -

"This email account is not currently accessible by your blackberry device., so you may be experiencing a delay in email delivery. This issue may be caused by a temporary problem with your email provider. Blackberry internet service will continue attempting to access this account."

How can I fix this?

Are you running an exchane enterprise server or pop or Imap on the BB?

Thanks.   The Blackberry Enterprise is a special program that runs on a server that allows you to sync Calendars and contacts wirelessly.

If you don't get your calendar or contacts synced with your email program wirelessly you aren't running Blackberry enterprise server.

Can you tell me if your calendar and contacts sync wirelessly?   Do you have to plug your phone into your computer to sync the calendar and contacts?
No, they sync wirelessly. Thanks!
OK - chances are that you have  BES server running so you need to go to get your BES administrator to change your password and then you can put in the new password.  Your email password and your BES password are not usually the same.
Yeah, there's a BES server running. The password was changed for the account/Exchange as well. Are you saying that if the password is updated in the BB settings all will be well?
