Asus nVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 GPU, for Video Editing, Effects and Mix....Is it too much for the task?

I have ordered an Asus nVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 graphics Card GPU and plan to use it in Video editing, Screenshot Capture and Mixing with effects and other Videos and Subtitles.

Do you think I don't need such an expensive card for this task? Should I return it back for something cheaper?

Thanks

Almost any card will work with two screens, as long as it has two video ports.  For three screens, you will have to get two cards, or get a Radeon Eyefinity 6xxx series and a mini displayport adapter.

That card is massive overkill for what you need to do - a GT440 should be sufficient.  The GTX 570 is for 3D games.
