I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The link above is for IBM WebSphere Process Server and IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, not WebSphere Application Server.  The link below will take you to the IBM Websphere 7 Information Center.  This site contains all of the basic product information:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v7r0/index.jsp

The WAS 7.0 Information Roadmap contains links describing system requirements, installation instructions, and much more.  This link is also found on the landing page in the link above.

Hi Gary,
The installs for WebSphere (given you have the full binary set package) if you expand a couple of of the files from the packages are self contained in the following... normally.  I usually find the file Quick Start pdf from the install set is the one the the proper links for the package.
If you have this package:
IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0 for Solaris SPARC 64-bit, Multilingual eAssembly(CR783ML)  Start with  expanding the contents of this file:
Quick Start for IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0, Multilingual(C1G2FML)
If it's this one:
IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0 for Solaris SPARC 32-bit, Multilingual eAssembly(CR782ML)
Look for: Quick Start for IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0, Multilingual(C1G2FML)
Linux:
IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0 for Linux on x86-64 bit, Multilingual eAssembly(CR787ML)
Look for:       Quick Start for IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0, Multilingual(C1G2FML)
IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0 for Linux on x86-32 bit, Multilingual eAssembly(CR786ML)
Quick Start for IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0, Multilingual(C1G2FML)

All that said if I didn't cover your proper package please let me know which one your working with and I'll steer you to the right one.  If your having trouble finding the actual pdf  let me know and I'll attach it here for you.
 Happy WebSphre-ing!
