We are running backupExec 12.5 in our environment.<br />

We have a file that is touched every 30 minutes, and it throws an error in backupExec every time we attempt a backup of it.<br />

Is there any setting we can toggle or adjust that will allow backupexec to allow it to make a cached copy of the whole directory, before its written to in the next 30 min cycle?<br />

Backup Exec has issue backing up file

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). "Restore" in turn means the methods and processes involved in data recovery, i. e., bringing back copied computer data to their original location.
