Backup Exec has issue backing up file

We are running backupExec 12.5 in our environment.

We have a file that is touched every 30 minutes, and it throws an error in backupExec every time we attempt a backup of it.

Is there any setting we can toggle or adjust that will allow backupexec to allow it to make a cached copy of the whole directory, before its written to in the next 30 min cycle?

Why you dont make an exclusive backup of this file,
and continue backing up the remaining files?

I hope this help!

I've tried running a backup of only the directory in question, it still seems to fail.

Post the error mesage so we can evaluate it.

We upgraded Backup Exec to the newest version, and the problem no longer presents itself.
