Can I browse into the disk with corrupted MFT?

I am trying to recover a disk with possible MFT corruption.  Loaded with different tools and all cannot pass the MFT analysing step.  But I can browse into the disk in windows.  A lots of folder and files are missing though.

chkdsk indeed and it should be done from a bootdisk and left to run however long it takes.  (Often several hours)

15 TB I am assume this is a disk array... If there is nothing physically wrong with the drives a chkdsk should work fine to help resolve the issue, yes it may take awhile. I would recommend attaching another drive to do any backup you may want before running a chkdsk.
