Jboss & JDBC connectionpool
Hi,
We often get tonnes of database connections from jboss ,most of them inactive.
I wish to configure JDBC parameters to truncate inactive database connections. On Google I found following parameter.
Can someone advise what values are advised?
Can I monitor JDBC connections /their behaviour at jboss logs before setting these parameters?
• idle-timeout-minutes: This element specifies the maximum time in minutes a connection may be idle before being closed. The actual maximum time depends also on the IdleRemover scan time, which is 1/2 the smallest idle-timeout-minutes of any pool.
Thanks
