Is there a way to change the default cover note template in QB 2011. I would like to add a graphic and new verbage to my email cover note when I send out the attached invoice or statement ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The quick answer is no.
In Edit, Preferences for Send Forms you can set some options.  These include To: fields, BCC: value, text for Subject line and text for message.  The email message will be a plain text message.

However, once it is in Outlook, you have regained full control.   You can change the message format to HTML (recommended for consistent presentation at a variety of receiving email programs) and can run Outlook Macros to do other things.

Caution:  Don't get too flashy.  You are sending an invoice or statement.   You may have branding issues that need to be addressed, but this would be like four color printing your envelopes.  The retained image is the statement or invoice form.  (Sorry for the lecture, I hope you accept its good intentions.)
