Apparantly you cannot, see here. Or install BT5 dual boot, which you probably don't want. Here's a list of working cards (not updated for BT5 btw).

For testing, I would get one of the working USB network devices. I can't decide for you about the dual/triple boot or not.

I am in a camp far away from the city,so bringing a usb wifi not possible right now, and I want to work on the wifi network on Back track 5, is it possible on the built in 1000 Bgn ?
If I make triple boot or on Vmware player?
Please advise

VMware player is not going to work. Personally if I were in a camp far away from town I'd not try and install BT5 as a 3rd boot on my working dual boot system. I would at least make a backup (clone) of your working machine. The installation I pointed to is about adding BT5 to an existing Windows installation, making it dual boot. No mention of a triple boot so I will not advise you to do this.

Other options you have:
- Install onto a 16G USB thumb drive, procedure is here
- If you have a compatible external (USB) removable disk, put that into your (notebook) machine, putting your dual boot notebook disk in a safe place

What type of hdd is in the external casing? 2.5"? Your laptop will have a 2.5" drive as well but do they both have the same interface? If they match, you have to remove the hdd from your laptop and replace it with the drive from the external hdd. Do the drive types match and are you handy enough and have some tools to replace the hdd?

Do you mean replace my notebook Hdd with the one  usb external hdd?

Gerwin Jansen, EE MVETopic Advisor Commented:
Yes :) If that's too much trouble or you're not sure you'll succeed, go for the USB solution, you have one right?
