ProjectTypeGuids - how to add to csproj

I am reading the above blog post that indicates you need to add a ProjectTypeGuid to a WebForm project that has been converted to MVC so that the project will behave the same and use the menu items for: Add Controller, Add View, etc.

However, I don't know how to add the guid to the .csproj as indicated.

Can someone please provide step by step instructions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Figured it out. Open a text editor, like WordPad, and THEN open a new file, change the types to *.* and you'll see the project type. Open it and then you can see the text to edit it.
