VMware ESXi 4.1 stopped booting at loading module HPSA

I have a HP ML330 G6 with a Smart Array P212

Today all Virtual servers stopped without warning.  I shouldn't shutdown VMware either.  needed to turn off and on.

When it booted up it kept on stopping at Loading Module HPSA.

Started writing this question and on the 5th reboot it booted.

Though i'd still like to know why just in case it happens again.

Regards,

The HPSA module is the module (driver) for the HP Smart Array P212.

I would check the firmware is up to date on the controller, and their are no issues with the current array. You can check using the Array Configuration Utility on the Smart Start CDROM.

are you updating vsphere on your servers as that could have caused this problem by updating the vsphere driver for the hpsa
