wav files

Hi,

I have a set of wav audio files. Is there a free program that can look at wav files and check when someone speaks.
Like a a visual graph of sound. That way I dont need to listen to the whole wav file to find out when sound is recorded.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

HI, Audacity is free audio program that can load and modifiy WAV files.
You have graphical presentation of your file so when you see the pick you now there is a sound.
You can cut out the silence if needed.
