Sql jobs are not getting disabled

I have a server set for both mirroring  and log shipping on different server. Due to patching we have fail over from secondary server to principle,now log shipping job is not getting disabled.Means even after disabling jobs it get enabled automatically.
I have updated the sysjob table as well, but no luck.Please assist

You can disable the schedule of the job.
Or if there is no shcedule, then there must be something that is triggereing the job. Check any manually script or any other job is there which checks whether it is disabled and then triggers it.
You can also check in the history that it was invoked by what.
This is the output I got:
Executed as user: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE. The log shipping primary database servername.databasename has backup threshold of 60 minutes and has not performed a backup log operation for 35026 minutes. Check agent log and logshipping monitor information. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 14420).  NOTE: The step was retried the requested number of times (3) without succeeding.  The step failed.

Execute below statement in monitor server. Statement will remove alert job.
