Access one PC from another on the same Wifi

I have one laptop connected ot the webcam via long USB cable.   I need to access it from another computer to see the same picture.  Both windows 7 OS.  What's the easiest way?  Or any other ideas.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If the Windows you are connecting to is a pro version or above, use Remote desktop. If not, then you can try Teamviewer or Logmein, or maybe one of the VNC versions (google for that). But performance will not be as good then.

Yes it works.  Is there a way to make connect more than one computer at a time just to see the same picture?  same profile desktop
What works? Remote Desktop? Do you mean you want to connect to the same "server" with several PC's at the same time? If that is what you want, no, that isn't possible.

You'd probably need some special webcam software that publishes the video via a webserver.

Yes, Remote Desktop works.  Thank you!

Wonder why it's not possible one PC just to view another screen, but only one to control. What happens now once I RDP from the remote computer, the other one that the webcam attached to is logs off.  And other way around..
It's a Windows License issue, only one user is allowed to work on the PC at one time. Apart from that, even if you were using a Server OS with real Terminal Server Licenses, it probably wouldn't work the way you want it to, as every desktop connection would be a separate session.

I think you should look on for software for your webcam so you can publish what it shows, and then you can probably view the output via a web-stream.
