How do I make red eye to normal in photos taken via Mobile Phone 12 mp?

Dear Experts

I got too many photos taken from Mobile Phones and in those most of the photos our eyes has been showing as red, etc. So please advise if there is any software out which will make eyes to normal colour very easily. Eveything else in the photo is good except eye colour.

Thanks in Advance

The very easy program is IrfanView. You can download a Portable version that need no installation:

It contains all necessery plug-ins. Just select with mouse a red eye area and go to Image--> Red eye Reduction.

You will have to do it manually - There is a red-eye removal tool built into Windows Live Photo Gallery - free.
Here's a shareware program that states>Processes photos one-by-one or in batches
Shell integration - Right-click on any photo or multiple selected photos on PC or camera and choose 'Remove Red Eye' option.

It's freeware so you can try it if you like
I have not tried it

Batch editing is provided by many image editors out there, but Picasa batch edit features outweighs them all.
And its free...

Batch Edit + Auto Red Eye Correction

You did not state your computers "OS"

For other options see:

Personally the one thing I dont like about Picasa is the doubling up of images, in order for it to load the images into it's interface it has store a duplicate of all images that you allow it to load with it's little Picasa .exe, into it's own Picasa Folder.. in the end every folder I had with any type of image in it also had this folder of Picasa's.
Just seems an over kill of duplicate photos and images.

Thanks EE Moderator and all guys who respond

My OS is Windows XP.

Yes u r right, picasa double up , i too dont prefer but I haven't tried its red eye feature
I wil give a go n see if that hassle free.

Will update more sooner.

Yes its  double up feature is bad...but free software has its downsides...
Enjoy free stuff is my advice.

Hey Merete

STOIK redeye 3.0 asking to enter key to open. it says 15 day trial but not sure it close off when I click OK. so I think , it must required Key.
Most trial imaging soft do not allow usable results... only a trial view / image... you must buy it to use the repaired image or it will be imbedded with a watermark or ???
I had no problems installing it and running it in trial
It shows a box that says welcome to your 15 day trial
it did mention about finger print technology
I just said okay
I dont have any red eye images, lol to test it I dropped a photo on and went to remove as the little guide stated
but it couldnt find any red eye
so if you could find a small image with red eye I coudl test that side of it.
Other than it works fine.
No batch is allowed in trial as per the read me
welcome red eyered eye interface

You want a photo with some red-eye ?
Try this.
Ok when I rightclick the image I have two choices but I believe now that I tested it the top one is no use,
Fix red Eye and save a copy<< I dont know what happened to that image.
I waited and my mouse just had an hour glass the small box below opened with the usual this is a trial I just pressed ok. Hour glass disappeared
No difference in the downloaded image
So I r/clicked it again this time choose Open with Stoik Red Eye Autofix, it open that page
go to remove wait a couple of seconds and the red eye is gone in current loaded image
go to save it asks if your happy with it  as itwill replace the copy of the red eye image
I clicked ok
and it replaced the original downloaded one.

Right click optionsred eye in interfacesave optionsfinal results the original
