What is the SQL syntax for inserting all the records from one table to similar another in the same database

In a database, I have 2 tables of similar structure of different names for good reasons.  I am tring to transfer the data from say Table A to Table B.  I dont' what to write syntax for each column or field.  In visual Fox I would simply say -- Append from Table A -- and thats all.
