ACCESS 2007 VBA query not returning values

I have a query - below - but it returns no values even though I see that they are on the table. I did a trim on the values coming in as well as the ones on the table. Can anyone see why I am getting no returns?

CurrInelSQL = "Select IneligibleUnits.* from IneligibleUnits where trim(DNumber) = ' " & dnum & " ' " _
                    & "And trim(BNumber) = ' " & bNum & " ' and trim(BNEnt) = ' " & bNnumEnt & " ' " _
                    & "And trim(UNumber) = ' " & unNum & " '; "

Try the following, it looks like you check trim(bnumber) for example with ' your number ' with spaces in between:

CurrInelSQL = "Select IneligibleUnits.* from IneligibleUnits where trim(DNumber) = '" & dnum & "' " _
                    & "And trim(BNumber) = '" & bNum & "' and trim(BNEnt) = '" & bNnumEnt & "' " _
                    & "And trim(UNumber) = '" & unNum & "'; "

You should also try to put it in the right zone, that might get you faster answers, this should be in MS Access  or in Query Syntax (under MS Access) or Coding (under MS Acces) or multiple of them and not just in MS Applications
