Mail Merge from multiple different sources

Is it possible to do a Mail Merge utilizing multiple source documents?  If so, how do I do this?

According to the best Microsoft sources, Word can only utilise ONE flat file data source for mail merge. (

However, you MAY be able to do this using an Access query, where you merge data from several different surces then use THAT to mail merge.

It would be possible if the sources can be combined into a single table-like (i.e. not hierarchical) query.
