IBM AIX Version 5.1 Change default Gateway

I'm not a unix person at all. I have an IBM server on my network running Version 5.1 of AIX. How can I make sure it has the proper default gateway and then, if I need to, change it to the current one?

I can SSH into machine and log in. I just don't know what to do from there.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

issue "smitty mktcpip", select the appropriate interface, hit <Enter>.

The default gateway will be displayed under "Default Gateway / Address"

That's also the right place to change it, if needed.

You can also see the default gateway with "netstat -rn".
It's the entry beneath "default".
