How can I give users in a user group to a view of a list?

Hi, We have Sharepoint MOSS 2007.
I have a list that is too long so I created a view for it.  I want only a group a people who can see the entire list and another group of people who can only see the custom view that I created.  I created the user groups and the custom view but where and how do I assign these views to different groups?  Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you can make the custom view the default view for the list. Then create a page with a list view web part, where the full list is displayed. Use permissions on that page, so not everybody can open the page.

You can add a link to that special page into a web part above the default view in the list.
