Backup started fails on Exchange 2010 server since Volume Shadow copy size changed on one of drive.

Since last 4 days our Exchange 2010 sever databases backup started to fail.We suspect that it started to fail when we changed Shadow copy value on D:\ drive where all databases resides.

We had been facing issue with lack of free space , and we found "System Volume Information" folder has occupied more than 60% of total drive size. Moreover we found that shadow copy on D:\ drive was set to No Limit, causing size of SVI folder increasing day by day. After set it to 120 GB instead No Limit ,SVI folder size became 0 KB and since that backup started fail.We suspect issue realted to this.
There is no issue in email flow.

FYI...

Backup Software is :- CommVault (Simpana)
Now SVI folder size is 0 KB.Before Changing Shadow copy size, it was 415 GB.

You should have atleast 20% free space on the C drive for the app. It will allocate temp files while the backup job runs.
