Outlook 2007

My OS is windows 7 and I use verizon FIOS for my ISP.   When I tried to create an email in Outlook, the name appeared on the To: field, but when I tried to see the entry in the Address book, I could not see it.  The name was like this : joe.doe@verizon.net.  BTW I have 2 Address books, one is for my regular MSN email and the other is for the ACT for Sage which is installed as an Add ON in my Outlook.  I looked in the ACT for Sage application, and this name is not in it either.  Where else can I look as i would like to delete the name.  thank u.

It you would like to delete names from the cache, simply start to type the name in the address bar, use your arrow keys to highlight the name, and hit the delete key. There are programs that you can use to edit the NK2 file, but for one or two names, this is the easiest method.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

I think in 2010, they are in a folder called "Suggested Contacts"
Correct and you can edit them in the address book or by hitting the x by the name
