CSIImport has stopped working

We have a VS2010 studio app that reads a CSV and submits the records to a SQL 2008 database. We received a very generic 'application has stopped working' error and the following excerpt in the event viewer. It appears to be throwing an error on the SQL connection but I can tell much more than that. Any ideas where else we can be looking for additional information?

Application: CSIImport.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Add some exception handling to TaxDetailCheck function. It seems to be raising a SQLException.
