Outlook 2003 lost Contact Category

I have 900 contact that I reassigned categories. A month latter I lost categories to 200 contact.
I have iPad2 and iPhone, are the devises causing the lost of categories/

if you have configured 2 way synchronization and if not useed/accessed properly - will surely cause such issue.

Please check your  iPad2/iPhone configuration properly and better to have backup!

Not sycning with iPad using corporate email.

Then there is no possibility to delete/remove your contacts automatically.

Either it is done manually or when it gets sync with Mobile devices.

It's not deleting, it's removing categorizes from the contacts.
