"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There's probably a shortcut key I'm unaware of, but in the meantime - Right click on the QAT and select "Customize the Quick Access Toolbar".

.. or you could probably put a macro on the QAT (so one click instead of two).

You have the option of showing the QAT above the ribbon or below the ribbon.

However you still have to click the drop down > More commands to customize it.
