How to position image pop up in exact position on a webpage

Hi There,
I am trying to find some javascript that does an image pop up on mouse over.
The main thing though is I need the image to be positioned EXACTLY on the webpage (wihtin a div with defined left, right within the webpage)
not the browser screen.
Does anyone know how to do this?

A popup is a new window so it wouldn't be within a <div> on the underlying page.  You can use mouse over to put an image in a div without it being a popup.  Here http://www.dibsplace.com/webdev/PhotoGal.html is one of my pages that does that.  When you 'mouseover' a thumbnail, it puts a larger version in the <img> with the name 'bigpic'.  Feel free to use the code.

yeh I have seen that - I was using it within dreamweaver by creating a blank.gif image as the target -
Might be the solution
Do you know if most of the javascript codes use the left and top to align to the web browser screen or within the div it is in?

In my code, the image is centered in a table <td>.  I put a default image in there so it won't be blank.  If you are doing a popup or pop-over, it's a div usually centered on the page because you can't make it a popup inside an existing div.
