vpn ports

Hi

On a router, I need to open some ports to allow a vpn connection.  for a remoted desktop session I open the following ports on my router...

https: port 443
Remote: port 4125

is that the same for VPN?

No, completely different.  And depends on the type of VPN you're using; there are several different types.
