Audio To Text Transcription Software Suggestions

am in the need on a really good Voice to Text software for my team.

As part of our work, we are constantly interviewing stakeholders and industry experts.  We record these interviews and then it takes forever to transcribe it.

Do you have any suggestions?  I would like to purchase soon.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i already chatted with them - it won't do what I need it to do.

I need to transcribe audio or video files of interviews - not dictate into a machine.
If you start the audio recording and place the Dragon microphone to listen as if you were dictating it should be able to transcribe... I've done it with recordings from my iPhone.

But can't I do the same thing for free with google voice?
I don't see why not.

As long as Dragon listens via its microphone you should have no problem. You might need to do some tweaking like playing the audio on one machine and listening from another (in a worst case scenario).

The only problem I anticipate is if you record voices with a strong accent where "Dragon" may incorrectly transcribe some phrases but otherwise you should be fine.

I would suggest you test with the trial.
