Exchange 2010 can the "get" command ever cause harm ?

In ems I am experimenting with "get " commands , as far as I know this can only get infomation and cannot change anything is this write?

Get is the best command to view the information and will not write/set in exchange server.

Please make sure once you use get command and you should not pipe to set anything. If you did, obviously it will affect
