I changed my computer and the fonts look bad on the same monitor

I have a 22" Belinea Lcd monitor.

I changed my computer and every font is made up by pixels (they are not smooth) so after 5 minutes my eyes got tired.

-Windows Xp serv. pack. 2 (the same as my previous computer)
-built in Intel Graphics Media accelerator with 256 Mb Ram (on motherboard)
-resolution 1440x900

I installed the correct driver from the motherboard cd.

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to be sure that you use the LCD's native resolution
This 22" Belinea has a native resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, when you use a smaller resolution then the fonts get smotthed it's called i think interpolation.
