apply a password group policy?
Hi
In the GPMC the account properties are listed under "Computer configuration".
If i create a new GPO for passwords do I link it to the Users container or the Computers container?
Surely I want the policy only to apply to a particular users OU and not every computer.
thanks

Surely there can be different password policies applied to different OUs?

Windows 2000 and 2003 you can see the password policy in Default Domain Policy

Thanks KCTS, seems like an awful lot of work just to set a simple password policy.
I created a new GPO and linked it to the computers OU - seems to have worked.

Thanks Guys
With Win2000 and 2003 you can only have a single password policy - ONE POLICY APPLIES TO THE WHOLE DOIMAIN
With Win2008 you must use the Fine Grained Password Policy see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770394(WS.10).aspx
