Office Applications Lock Up Using Windows 7

I have an Acer laptop running Windows 7 32 bit.  I just finished reloading the operating system because it will "stop responding" when I try to open WORD, when I try to delete an icon on my desktop and when I try to print.  Before I could restore to an earlier point and it would work, but then fail again in an hour, day or week.  Does any one have a definitive answer as to what is causing this?  Before the reload I renamed the CLASSpnp.sys file and it worked for a while, but then the same problems occured.   HELP!!!

Seems like the issue is with our Domain Server.  The other Windows 7 users are having similar problems, and I had to reboot the server this morning which resolved the hanging issue.  Thanks anyway.

Possible hard drive failure? Bad stick of RAM?  I would scan it to see.

Can you check your memory by downloading/burning Ultimate Boot CD and running Memtest86+ from the memory category?

Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.

One of a set of tools we're offering as a way to say thank you for being a part of the community.

I've checked the memory with the tool that comes with Windows 7.  How would I check my HD?

There is no test utility for Toshiba on UBCD. Maybe you can try the Toshiba site with both serial and model to find out if they have a utility (warranty section).
