how do I change my default folder in adobe reader

so that when I go to save a file, it defaults to the directory I want it to be in?

Unfortunately, it's not possible in Acrobat Reader.

On mine if I save a file in a specific folder it keeps that as the default until I change it manually by saving the file to another folder.  Does it not work like this for you?
